I got a half priced ticket to the SUBMERGE exhibit (now ended) so I went in without much thought, partially skeptical I’d enjoy it considering the rating of this place and the fact that it basically consists of one screen in the main room.

Honestly, I enjoyed it! It was nice to lie down (they have cushions you can use) on the floor after walking around in Chelsea to take a sweet break. I personally also find it fun to watch surreal art, but I admit it wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea. I’m also not sure if I would’ve felt like it was worth it had I paid full price (over $30), or if the room had been packed with people.

In all, you really are just sitting and watching a screen for around an hour, so this probably only appeals to people who like drifting off and daydreaming in general. Or if you want a safe place to nap in the city, this is the spot 😉

The exhibit at the Arts House was visually striking and truly eye-catching though at times, it could feel a bit overwhelming. Overall, it was a great experience. The space is quite small, with just the main exhibition and a small display area, so there isn’t a lot to explore. Still, it was definitely worth the visit.

This was a new exhibit at the Artechouse.

I really enjoyed the digital art installation. It's a compilation of multiple different artists and their visions and I really enjoyed how uniquely each of them displayed their story. They have one big space where you can sit and watch the display of about 45 minutes. I will say that if you're trying to get a few pictures, it can be hard as some of the displays go by somewhat fast and it will take you another 45 minutes before the display will return.
They also have a few small spots where you can do something more interactive.

If you want to see the whole display and have some time for the interactive art I'd say you'll need about 60-90 minutes at the spot.

Completely not worth the price for entry. The interactive displays on the second floor were not interactive and felt as though they ran on a loop. The main attraction being the one room 360 art show was choppy and the poles in the middle blocked some of the view. Overall, I would have enjoyed if it was worth less and if the emergence of AI wasn’t so prominent to highlight artists.

super cool digital art from cool artists & i was definitely engaged, but it was a bit lackluster for the price i paid compared to other exhibits i've visited in NYC. BUT i will say the people who work there are SO SO nice, esp the front desk guy i cant remember his name.

there were some interactive areas but there's only one room with all the main displays which lasts about an hour. def some cool stuff but it's not something i would do again. i went on a monday so there weren't a lot of people there which i would also recommend. i paid around $30.
